TOMAHAWKS

Probably one of the most satisfying things to stick. Be warned, they will trash whatever target you are using pretty quickly.

Cold Steel

Rifleman - great to throw and pretty handy round the campsite.

See Cold Steels site for more info.

A basic set of 5 throwing tomahawks. One for each IKTHOF target. These are made by Cold Steel and are the Frontier model. Beware, tomahawk throwing is very addictive.

Garden axes are nearly as good as hawks. Notice the handles have been adapted for a straighter handle form a pickaxe handle. They throw better. Plus the axe head has been turned round to provide a better sticking point.

Off the shelf garden axes also throw well .

John’s Mountain man knife and hawk. Now in these cowboy style competitions ( as opposed to bullseye tournament targets) you only use one knife and one hawk which you throw from a minimum of 10’.

By altering the length of your hawk handle you can get the knife and hawk to throw from the same spot. The knife is thrown via the handle only as these competitions are designed to emulate a knife which has a sharpened blade. The targets are used for games which involve placing playing cards etc. on them . You then have to stick the card.

Bronks Knife Works
Superb hand forged damascus custom hawks. You might not want to be throwing something like this around.
They also do springsteel models. No two are the same due the hand working process.
