I had my first go at throwing at a festival in Kent in 2018 where there was a group from Avalon Axes doing a taster axe throw. From the moment I threw my first axe I was hooked. By the end of the next week I had found myself a club. I have been with Essex Backyard Throwers ever since. I was really excited and surprised to place at my first competition, and I can’t wait to improve and compete more.
